G- “So Phillip began with this same Scripture and then used many others to tell him the Good news about Jesus” Acts 8:35

R- We need to always remember to bring it back to scripture when witnessing to people. We can do our best to reach out and be culturally relevant, like Paul on Mars Hill(Acts 17), but if we don’t bring it back to the word of God in some way then we are not really spreading the Good News, because the News comes from His word

O- Father continue Your work in my heart. Continue to teach me how to reach the world for you. I want to follow you and preach your word to everyone I can, but I need your wisdom and strength to accomplish this. give me both that wisdom and that strength so that I can enlarge Your Kingdom.

W- I just need to make sure that I am always bringing it back to the Word. In order to do that I need to KNOW the Word. I must “Study this Book of the Law continually,” and I need to “meditate on it day and night”(Joshua 1:8)

THink about it!

“For God kinda liked”

“For God really cared about”

“For God was infatuated with”

None of these are correct obviously.  not even “For God loved a lot” is anything close to an accurate description of John 3:16’s opening words. We all know them by now;

“For God SO Loved”

But have you ever stopped to contemplate the second word, “SO”. I think that this is the most important part of the whole message. God didn’t just love us, he wasn’t infatuated with us, He didn’t have this little thing for us, He SO loved us. He was SO in love with us that he did the unthinkable and sacrificed His one and only SON for US. WHY? Would you give up your kid for someone else who is an evil rotten scoundrel? Nope. I wouldn’t, I wouldn’t give up the life of anyone of my kids for anyone, but then again I don’t SO love anything that much.

Maybe I need that kind of love for this world more often .

G- “God’s message was preached in ever widening circles. The number of believers greatly increased…” Acts 6:7

R-What is my circle of evangelism right now? It’s not very big, I know that. What do I need to do to increase that circle where I have the “in” to preach the word. how can I make sure my circle is ever widening. I Know that God wants me to be preaching in ever widening circles. How can I expand my own influence?

O-Lord, help me to preach to my current circle more consistently, and help to expand that circle more frequently. Your message is for all the world and people will hear and believe. I want to share that message with people, give me the courage to stand and do do.

W- I want to share the message of salvation with someone this week, in fact why not two people.
